Your Pregnancy Weeks 26 to 29: Sleep Cycles

By week 26, your baby weighs a little less than 2 pounds and is the size of a large zucchini. His eyebrows and eyelashes are well defined and he has more hair on his head this week.

By week 27, your and your third trimester, your baby may be able to distinguish between your voice and your husband's or partner's voice despite the fact that his ears are plugged with vernix and he's underwater.

At 28 weeks, your baby is the size of a head of iceberg lettuce. He is beginning to open his eyes and blink. His skin is still wrinkly but his fact accumulates, he will fill out. He is inhaling and exhaling amniotic fluid as he continues to practice breathing.

Your baby weighs roughly 3 pounds and is the size of an eggplant by week 30. He has cycles of sleeping and waking. After 30 to 90 minutes of snoozing he may give you a kick to let you know he's awake. Your baby may also be dreaming at this state perhaps about stretching out in his crib because your uterus is getting so cramped.
