19-Year-Old Parents Welcome rare identical triplets. The mom and dad both 19 from Newberg, Oregon the high school sweethearts been together welcomed their three daughters, Raelyn, Avery and elaina, on Monday.

Their neonato logist, Dʀ. Craig Novack , told the that identical triplets are so rare he has only seen one other set in his 22-year career. Hill tells Us Weekly she wasn’t surorised when the ultrasound showed triplets. Brown-Fletcher admits:” My dad has multiples in his family, so I figured it would happen to me someday. But her fiance got the sʜᴏᴄᴋ of his life. I was crying and swearing! I was a little scared because I was still in high school and working a small job with not many hours. But as we started to approach their due date, I was like, ‘This is going to be life changing, but I am ready’.”

Hills’ pregnancy was made even more difficult because the ultrasound that revealed she was carrying triplets also showed a large mass in her ovary. She said:” I was so scared I could lose the babies. I bawled the whole way home.” The mass turned out to be a cyst the size of a basketball and hills had surgery to remove the ovary and the ᴄʏsᴛ while she was pregnant. The triplets birth came earlier than planned after doctors had trouble hearing a heartbeat for one. Hills was about 33 weeks along when she had caesarean section. The infants who respectively weighed 2 pounds, 12 ounces; 3 pounds, 11 ounces; and 2 pounds, 15 ounces

After a few weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit a Providencen st. vincent medical center in Portland the girls were able to go home. Brown-Fletcher said:”A lot of our friends weren’t very supportive at first. They were all like. You are too young, you are not ready.” Meanwhile, the new parents are ꜰᴏᴄᴜsɪɴɢ on more important matters. Brown-Fletcher said:” I’m just excited to take them home and be a family together in one house.”
