Photographer Captures What Pregnancy Really Looks Like
Pregnancy can be a beautiful time in a woman’s life, but it can also be a tough one. Photographer Danielle Guenther‘s hilarious and honest What The BUMP!? series shows expectant moms going through the not-so-awesome moments of pregnancy.
“This is capturing the annoying part of pregnancy that you may face, whether it’s having your first child or adding onto your current family,” Guenther tells SELF. “As beautiful as baby growing may be, there’s also a lot of obstacles along the way. I want to photograph them and shed light on those hilarious moments.”
Lifestyle photographer and mom Danielle Guenther adds in a bit of humor to her pictures to illustrate that parenthood isn’t always what we thought it was going to be. Or not even close to what we thought it would be.
