A Mum Has Six Boys And Is Pregnant With Her Seventh Child

Mom Ariel Tyson has always wanted to have a big family, and that has come true when she has 6 sons who are about to be 6 years old. She is ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ with her seventh child, and she hopes that this is a baby beautyful . Having a large family can be a huge reward for parents who have always dreamed of having many children.

But Ariel Tyson, 33, and husband Michael from Bozeman, Montana is sɪᴄᴋ of being asked the same questions about her family by people online. People ᴡᴏɴ’ᴛ sᴛᴏᴘ asking Ariel if she is having more children in an attempt to have a baby girl, as people often assume she is ‘ᴅɪsᴀᴘᴘᴏɪɴᴛᴇᴅ’ with having six boys. She said: “Nope! We always wanted a big family. Though I thought 4 to 5 kids originally. No matter if you’re a girl or a boy, because sᴀᴅʟʏ, that also seems to determine your value to many, you will have a special place in our family for your entire life.”

The couple are both homeschooled and so the decision to offer this experience to their children came quite naturally. They have time to study, do housework and and education of home-schooled children. Having now home-schooled her children for over three years, Ariel has found a routine which works best for the family. The day begins at 7:30am with breakfast, and the children then begin their online learning programs which allow Ariel, who has more than 163,000 followers on Instagram, to look after the younger children and complete some of her own work. The children then break for lunch and subsequently spend the afternoon reading and working through their sheets with their mom. From 3:30pm onwards, the children are involved in a wide array of extra-curricular activities allowing them to make friends and let off some steam. Ariel takes her children to a home-school co-op – a weekly group class led by other home-schooling parents – in addition to sports groups and sᴘᴇᴇᴄʜ ᴛʜᴇʀᴀᴘʏ sᴇssɪᴏɴs.

But while she has a good routine in place for all of her kids, Ariel says that home-schooling isn’t without its challenges. She notes that the biggest of these is finding which methods of learning work best for your child. With many more parents now finding themselves home-schooling ᴅᴜᴇ to the ᴄᴜʀʀᴇɴᴛ ⒸⓄⓋⒾⒹ ᴘᴀɴᴅᴇᴍɪᴄ, Ariel emphasizes that home-schooling requires fluidity as every child’s needs will be different. She said:”I did enjoy being home-schooled and the freedom it gave me. I was able to graduate high school one year early because I worked ahead in school without having to wait for a classroom of students to catch up. Because of that, I graduated from university a year early and then finished my master’s degree the same year that I would’ve been graduating from university. I was able to experience other areas of life that I couldn’t have if I had been tied to a typical school setting. I was in a touring company for acting. I also competed in the World Championships of Performing Arts and travelled all over the country. I later worked with agents on commercials and short films. I’ve been home-schooling for over three years. We just take it one year at a time looking at what works best for our family. My husband is definitely all for it. He was also home-schooled and is a big advocate for it.”

She added:” We’re enjoying the rest at home. We have more time to focus on learning new hobbies, more free moments to play, and the time to make new goals. Financially, I do have some ᴄᴏɴᴄᴇʀɴs over how the ᴇᴄᴏɴᴏᴍʏ will be ᴀғғᴇᴄᴛᴇᴅ, especially with both mine and my husband’s work, but we’re trusting that it’s all a part of Gᴏᴅ’s ᴘʟᴀɴ. If there’s any ғʀᴜsᴛʀᴀᴛɪᴏɴ, take a break and come back to it later. Be sure to get energy out throughout the day. And overall, work hard and play hard. Have fun with learning.”
