The Most Amazing Conjoined Twins

Abigail and Brittany Hensel: Abigail and Brittany Hensel were born in 1990 in Minnesota and they share one body with one set of limbs, but have two heads. They first appeared on the oprah winfrey show at the age of six, and then started in a TLC documentary of the age of sixteen. The girls live separate identities and hope to date, travel, get married, and have children.

Donnie & Ronnie Galyon: Donnie and Ronnie Galyon were named the oldest living conjoined twins by the Guinness World Book of Records in 2009. As of 2014, they are now the oldest living conjoined twins in history. They are conjoined at the sternum and groin, as well as sharing organs. Their parents took them on the road as a sideshow act to make money to support their nine children. While their health is declining, the twins are still alive and living with round-the-clock care.

Daisy and Violet Hilton: Daisy and Violet Hilton were born in 1908 and were fused together at the pelvis, conjoining them at the hips and buttocks. The girls were one of the biggest vaudeville performers of their time and were practically celebrities. Both of them had numerous affairs, short marriages, and failed attempts at getting a marriage license. Their story inspired the broadway musical "Side Show" in 1969, they contracted the Hong Kong flu and died in their home, with medical experts believing that daisy died first and violent dying to 24 days later.

Giacomo and Giovanni Tocci: The Tocci twins were born in Locana, Italy sometime between 1875 in 1877. They had two separate heads, coming together at the chest, and shared one set of legs and hips. The twins also had one umbilical cord. Their father went temporarily insane after seeing his newborn sons. After spending much of their childhood in the freak show scene, the twins became recluses wreck and no one heard from them again with numerous speculations on their lives, whether they had children, and when they died.

Chang and Eng Bunker: Chang and Eng Bunker were born in 1811 in what was then known as siam. They were conjoined at the sternum and were held together by a piece of cartilage. They were sold to a British Merchant in 1829 and traveled the world and show attractions called, "The Chinese Twins" the twins eventually got married two sisters and settled down in North Carolina, adopting the last name of Bunker. The couples shared one bed four, and between the two brothers, they had 21 children. Chang suffered a stroke after contracting pneumonia and died, with a dying 3 hours later.

Lori and George Schappell: Born in Reading Pennsylvania on September 18th, 1961, Lori and originally Dory Schappell were born attached to the head. Dori hated that her name Rhymed with her sisters, so she changed it to reba. However in 2007, Reba realized she identified more as male and changed her name to "George" has been living as a transgender ever since. Lori and George live together in a 2 bedroom apartment on are able to live two different lives. 

Millie and Christine McCoy: Attached at the hip, Millie and Christine McCoy were born in North Carolina and 1851 to two slaves. Their owner sold them when they were 10 years old, and they were sold again to a showman who had them performing numerous sideshows. The twins were freed when the Emancipation Proclamation went into effect, and they went home to North Carolina briefly before joining the bottom circus. The twins died in 1912 from tuberculosis.
