Meghan Markle First Publicized The Image Of Her Daughter Lilibet With Outstanding Features
On June 6, Harry and Meghan Markle released a new photo of their daughter Lilibet on the occasion of her 1 year old birthday. This is the first time the Sussex family has publicly revealed the face of their young daughter.
Before that, baby Lilibet appeared in a Christmas picture with her family last year but only revealed the side angle. The latest photo was taken by photographer Misan Harriman, a close friend of Meghan Markle and her husband.
It is understood the “candid and spontaneous” image was taken by photographer Misan Harriman at a birthday picnic. Friends and family also attended the event, which was held at Frogmore Cottage, in Windsor. The duke and duchess have been “incredibly touched” by the birthday wishes that have flooded in for Lilibet, who is named after the Queen.
The latest picture of Lilibet has been released after the Sussexes flew back to the US following their trip to England for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The picture shows chubby, lovely baby Lilibet in a blue dress. The girl has the same striking red hair as her father, Prince Harry.
Meanwhile, the features on the child’s face are a perfect copy of Meghan’s mother when she was young.
When comparing Lilibet with the Queen’s one-year-old birthday photo, fans also noticed many similarities. On her first birthday in 1927, the Queen of England was also allowed by her parents to wear a flowing skirt and sit on the doorstep or in a chair. The two photos of Lilibet and the Queen were taken from almost the same angle, giving the viewer a sense of familiarity.
Royal fans around the world have donated more than £79,800 to the World Central Kitchen, one of the charities the Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation has been supporting, to celebrate Lilibet’s birthday.
Another black and white photo posted on the media shows Meghan smiling brightly, holding her lovely daughter. Standing next to her is photographer’s wife Misan Harriman and two children. However, baby Archie, the first son of the Sussex family, is not seen in the picture.
