Dad Dresses His Baby Up As a Box Of KFC And a Plant Pot Because, Why Not?

They’re tiny and pudgy and inconceivably cute – particularly when dressed as boxes of fried chicken. Just look at Sholom Ber Solomon’s baby, Zoe. Together, the father-daughter duo take all sorts of incredible photographs, complete with props, sets and intricate costumes. Originally from Hackney but now living in California, Sholom has been dressing up and staging photos for friends and family for years.

But it was only when he realised that his baby was willing to sit for the camera too that he really stepped up his game. He says that he intends to carry on dressing the both up for as long as Zoe is willing to play ball.

‘I plan to take photos with her as long as she will let me,’ he says. ‘She definitely makes all the pictures a lot cuter as without her I’m just a fat chubby guy who likes to take silly pictures. The ideas for what me and Zoe will do next are endless.’

His favourite so far? Dressing Zoe up as a box of KFC.

Every picture takes about 20 minutes to capture and is snapped by Sholom’s wife Carli. And as you might imagine, the pair have quite the fan base.

They’ve got almost 3,000 likes on Facebook and their story is spreading all over the internet because there’s nothing more pure than a guy who spends his time dressing his baby up as a hula dancer. ‘The positive feedback has been across the board, from old ladies who think I should make a book to my friends and to younger people who think its just adorable,’ says Sholom.
